Ate there yesterday. Chicken was great, fries and toast were meh, slaw was bad, and sauce not nearly as good as canes.
They don't give your box, napkins, and utensils in a bag for some reason which pissed me off. They just hand it all to you like Popeyes does.

Sep 26. (I know because I went to Rouses on the 24th, and they weren't opening til Monday.)
I did try it since then, and I like Cane's better. Zaxby's may have better fries, but the chicken/sauce/toast isn't as good. The sauce tasted kinda like salad dressing to me.

Be prepared for the let down. I've heard their salads were good but I'm not going to a place that supposedly specializes in chicken fingers to get a salad.

Went to the one in Watson a few weeks back for the first time in my life, sitting there I thought to myself I will probably never step foot in another one of these in my life, especially with a Canes down the road.
Not because it was bad or I had a negative experience, but because it was probably the most forgettable culinary experience of my life

Ate there last week when I was in a bind. The chicken was ok flavor and size wise. The fries were not cooked fully and salty as hell. The buffalo sauce was not to my liking as it was super vinegary.

I had a good Zaxby's experience in Foley, AL a few years ago. Chicken, toast, fries were all spot on. Went to the one in Gonzales recently and it was average at best. I don't know if they've slipped or if my experience in Foley was just an anomaly.

Finally had Zaxby's last weekend. It's like Cane's except Cane's sauce is better. Those 2 places are just not my thing, and I'll only eat that 2 or 3 times a year. Zaxby's & Cane's are nothing special at all. You can also throw the overrated Chick Fil A into that mix.

Why is every one hating on Zaxbys? They do have more than just chicken fingers. Canes and zaxbys chicken are both meh. Zaxbys kickin' chicken sandwich is the GOAT for me.
Also I prefer zax sauce over canes bc it is more consistent being factory made instead of in house.
