Owner Trey Matassa, who built his career in the litigation support business and had no prior restaurant experience, says he did not anticipate the slow summer season and did not have the capital to keep up operations.
I'll never understand why people with no experience think they can just open a restaurant when people that have worked in the business their entire lives fail almost always.

So I'm assuming my $50 of food for $25 at Souga is worthless now?

These guys always throw a hell of a Super Bowl party though.

The pizza is still the same and very good.
Can't speak for the guy at the counter. We always order takeout and Mrs. Urine has been the one to pick it up lately.

I agree. The pizza is absolutely identical. No Omar, which was part of the experience, but the food is the same. It appears to be the same ladies working the kitchen

Yeah.
Pretty much anyone who has worked anywhere near a bar/restaurant knows summer is dead.

The guy at the counter does seem a little off. He's pretty young too I believe. I asked one time about serving beer and he commented on how he wasn't old enough to get a liquor license. Might have been yanking my chain though.
I just wish they could cut all the way through the pizza when they slice it. I always have to use my pizza cutter on it when I get home.

Was the best pizza in BR.
That honor now resides with Bistro Italia.

I've had it several times and I think the quality of the pizza is still the same. Now the kid working the counter, that's a different story.

That's an understatement.
