T-boys in Mamou or Teets in Ville Platte are my recommendations.

smoked ponce is a "must have" with your order

t-boys

Teets smoked meats

But only if you live in a third world country.

have you ever tried the whole boneless stuffed chicken ?

stuffings vary from : boudin, jambalaya, rice dressing, shrimp, seafood, crawfish , etc... one with sides will feed a family of four

if interested, I'll be glad to call around and help you put an order together. I live in LAF but travel throughout SWLA and the entire State on business

I've ordered from Teets several times. The pure pork smoked sausage is awesome. Really imparts a good flavor to a gumbo. Also there jalapeño green onion is good. If you buy in bulk the shipping cost aren't too bad. Get at least 15 lbs to make it cost effective

IMO, Hebert's has the best boneless stuffed chickens

Teets and T-boys have the best smoked meats

boudin ... Billy's, Best Stop, Dons - matter of personal taste / choice

Poche's in Breaux Bridge is another awesome choice for quality meats

you should just take a road trip to Acadiana / Cajun Country and load up 5-6 ice chests full of meat
