I just picked up a bottle of their satsuma rum, mainly because I saw that their a Louisiana brand. It's not that bad, but I'd still rather a bottle of Sailor Jerry's.

I use their satsuma, silver, and spiced rums in a drink with pineapple juice, oj, grenadine, lime juice, and simple syrup. Great tasting drink with plenty enough kick. I don't think the brand of rum makes much difference with that many ingredients. But since they make the satsuma rum (which is key to the drink), I use their brand for the silver and spiced too. An occasional daiquiri is the only other time I really use rum, so there's no need for me to be a brand snob when it comes to rum. I also like their bottles and like using local products. I'm very happy with their products.

I bought it once and never again. I prefer Zaya.

Their satsuma rum + sprite + a splash of pineapple juice = a pretty refreshing way to switch things up from my usual bourbon/scotch.

Satsuma Rum - It's a solid liqueur; works well as a Triple Sec replacement.

Select Rum - This is their premium rum, but it's definitely not at a sipper level. I believe it's only aged a year or two.

Silver Rum - WAY too sweet.

Spiced Rum - I barely ever drink spiced rum unless it's in a cider when it's freezing out. Have yet to try this one.

I'll drink the shite out of the spiced rum with Coke. No lime though. The rum has a slight vanilla flavor.

Bayou rum may not be the best, but it's the best of all the Louisiana distilled rums by far.

I like Kraken, but Black Magic is even better.
