Whatever happened to the dining guide?

I thought it was pretty useful. Did it get axed because people weren't participating and updating reviews?

Chicken axed it. Not sure of the exact reason, but it may have been the time it took for upkeep. I thought it was very useful and shared it often

I don't think it was a thread. I think it was like our version of "Yelp" where you can search restaurants by name or by style. But I only used it a couple times as well.
I can search "[RESTAURANT NAME] + Tigerdroppings" on Google and find threads about whatever place I'm looking for.

I find the search feature on this site to be abysmal (in addtion to being stuck with a crappy username for all eternity).

The search function on the Dining Guide worked great. You could search by name, location, type of food and possibly cost. You could search BR and NO. It was terrific.

it was good but it was never updated and kept up to my knowledge. they had places on it that had been closed for awhile.
do what LL said, type tigerdroppings and said restaurant.
if you want to get really specific do something like this n google
