It's been too wet, too cold, too dry, and too hot for the crop to be anything other than a disaster for the consumer....get ready to pay!

Actually, prices are nice for this time of year.

We are catching April volume (and damn near size) crawfish in February. This season will be good, but possibly short.

By the law of supply and demand they must be abundant. I paid $2.25 lb in Mobile two weeks ago. That's pretty cheap this time of year.

They are plentiful with good color and size right now. Just ride the wave while you can. I'd bump up that boil date a few weeks if you can Clucker.

will either be bad because of too much water

or bad because of not enough water

or bad because of just the right amount of water

or bad because it's tool warm

or bad because it's too cold.

I'm here to help Chicken. We are catching the best we have in id say 10 years. In February.... Been a great year thus far. Now eveyone go out and eat some crawfish tonight.

Prices are low. Wholesale anyway. Not sure if you're seeing it at the restaurant or not.
