Going there for the first time tomorrow for dinner. Menu sparked my interests, particularly the lamb shank and duck breast entrees. Looking for suggestions from those of you who have been there on what I should order. TIA.

I had a veal cutlet that was good. And bread pudding for dessert.

Order the Frank Marullo Special. Magistrate Commissioner with onion rings and "wop" salad.

Short ribs are yummy, as is the duck. Bbq shrimp app is pretty good, though small. Skip the pork entree. They overcook it.

The massive veal cutlet (along with the Salisbury steak and onion rings) are the few holdovers from the pre-K College Inn.

Wife (no pics) & I split the cutlet just about every time we go(14 bucks...comes with mashed potatoes w/ gravy and spinach). Mix in a different app often.

My grandparents went to College Inn 3-4 nights a week for 40 years, I miss those big arse bread rolls...the Blanchers have refined the cuisine well, but I still crave those pre-K staples.

Sorry to get nostalgic for a bit...fried oysters, CFS, and specials are usually all good. But I can rarely sit at that bar without ordering onion rings and buying Cartwright a beer...

Shrimp and grits. And the white chocolate bread pudding fried poboy.

Their onion rings are good too, though I find it to be pricey for the amount that you get.
