Just list one:

Dekalb Farmer's Market in Atlanta (absolutely the best produce, meat and seafood departments I have ever seen). Last time I was there, I brought an ice chest and filled it up to bring back home.

Schwegmann # 3 on Gentilly Blvd. You could drink a draft beer, get a hair cut, eat oysters, get your shoes repaired, etc. and then make your groceries while drinking another beer. RIP

Some of them had what was pretty much a bait and tackle shop inside of them - it was freaking crazy!

gross. reminds of the nasty hair salons in Wal Mark.

Why did the Schwegmann's in BR not survive? anyone remember? I remember when it opened it was a big deal, then it was gone. Kind of like Catfish Town.

John Schwegmann was not a good businessman, and pretty much single handedly destroyed the family businsess he inherited.

I haven't been on Sherwood Forest in quite a while, but I don't remember seeing it vacant...
