Hot tamales from Costco

Those Indian meals from Costco

Pizza from Costco

Pulled pork from Costco

and when I smoke ribs I smoke a lot of them. Divide the leftovers into portions, vacuum pack and freeze. Then I can just drop the bag in boiling water when needed.

I've had bad luck with frozen food from trader Joe's. The veggie and rice packs all were good but the actual full meals have been very meh

I will try the two you listed.

I trust you

Pretty damn good risotto for a box. I'll often times cook a protein to put on top (salmon, duck breast, etc...) but it's not necessary and very good on it's own.

Not frozen dinners, but I cook about 4-5 lbs of ground beef at a time, and freeze it in ziplocs in smaller portions. It makes for a quick meal if I want tacos, chili, spaghetti, etc. It thaws out in the pan quicker than browning it from raw. Add sauce or seasonings and I can be done in about 15 minutes.

Pizza and ice cream are the only things in our freezer. Occasionally boudin finds its way in there

Steamed veg.

Boudin egg rolls.

Jennie O turkey dogs.

I season hamburger patties and freeze them individually in ziplocs.

We don't really do prepared foods.

Fish stick dinners. Just like the kind we had on Fridays in grade school.
