Smoked chicken, tasso, andouille, and okra gumbo over popcorn rice with a side of potato salad. Scotch and game of Thrones for dessert

Are your floors dry Darla? I see lots of rain in your town and hope all is OK.
Dinner at our house consists of Pulled pork Loin, done in the crock pot (Dry rubbed loin roast, cut from a Sam's full size pork loin, cooked for maybe 5 hours in chicken broth with a touch of liquid smoke.)
This was a smallish roast, so we had enough nice, tender, pulled loin for 2 BBQ sliders each, served for 2 meals today.
Now I have pulled pork loin on my mind and might do another one (of the three we cut from the loin after harvesting our loin chops) in a day or two.

That looks very nice and simple. I like it.
Wife did a stuffed chicken in the oven from Helo grocery and some oven roasted butternut squash.
Last night we did cedar plank salmon, steak, asparagus, baked potato -- had company over and too much wine to care about posting.
