Long day today. My 32 pound miniature dachshund started vomitting from every orafice around midnight. Junior started it around 3 am. I took the day off to tend to things around here, which emphasized dinner tonight.

Rack of baby backs in the smoker, Spud McConnell's chicken wings from the oven as horse divers, grilled kernel corn, potato salad, and garlic bread

I'm goin' veggun fulltime,,,,,,tonight.

Fried green tomaters, with just a tad of bacon grease in the oil, strictly for flavor.
Corn bread, with just a tad of bacon grease in the iron skillet, strictly for flavor.
Black eyed peas, with just a tad of bacon cooked in there, strictly for texture.

I feel cleaner already.

Microwaved weenies and cheese. I'm pretending the cheese is a hot dog bun and the air on top is chili.

ETA: Coater, that looks fabulous!

Add a few fried oysters on it and I'm guessing you would like it as well.

I'm having homemade vanilla bean ice cream that is spinning on the back patio right now.
