I made a chilli last night as well. Came out very good. Recipe as follows.

2 slices bacon
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. ground turkey
3 links fresh jalapeno sausage
1 onion
1 bellpepper
3 stalks celery
4 medium to large jalapenos
2 garlic cloves
2 large cans diced tomatoes
1 6 oz. can tomato sauce
1 can tomato paste
2 cans red kidney beans
2-3 tbspn chili powder
1 tspn cumin
2 tspns salt
1 tspn black pepper
1 tspn tony chacherie's

Cook bacon and reserve grease. remove casing from sausage and chop. Cook sausage in bacon grease. Remove and set aside on a paper towels to drain some of the grease.
Add ground meat and turkey to same pot and brown.
Remove and reserve meat. Dump out remaining grease.
Add vegetables and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours.

Easy meal to make, but becomes difficult when you're brewing an oatmeal stout at the same time. Both came out good though. Maybe next time, i'll use the stout in the chili.
