If anyone was interested, the Chimes by campus has some bottles for purchase. You have to ask, as I think that they do not appear on the beer menu.

chimes prices....i'll guess $60 for an 8oz? Do yourself a favor. Drink the Westy, then get a St. Bernardus ABT 12 and tell me if you can taste much of a difference.

It's $40 for the bottle.

Some may be interested, some may not.

That's not a bad price compared to other gouging I've seen/heard around town. Still a very excessive price to pay for a small bottle of regular ole quad that is produced year-round.

That wasn't actually my pic.

I just found it funny someone was drinking aged Blue Moon with a obscure Master P album in the background.

It was pretty hip. I chuckled a little before wondering about the beer. Sounds pretty mediocre after reading about it.

$40 isn't the worst price I've seen, but still expensive for a bottle of beer.

Westy XII is great though, I thought it lived up to the hype.

I pad 12 euro in Brussels for a bottle. So I guess $40 isn't all that bad. Its a good beer but not worth extreme prices IMO though.

FTFY

Freaking $100 for a 12 oz bottle...

There are a few Belgian beers I'd consider paying that much for a bottle, Westy XII is not one of them.

I've traded for one. It's legit. Haven't drank it yet though

Who knew the over/under for Geauxld Finger Chimes bashing was gonna be set at 3 minutes?

$40 is high, but given that it's not the US release and the fact that it's a restaurant, that's about right.
