I agree

The notion that these plate lunches are healthier than some fast food items is hilarious

I'm not saying it's not better food, but fast food isn't constructed of space chemicals or some shite. It's fried potatoes and Chicken/beef with bread and real lettuce and tomatoes

I would bet most fast food meals have less calories than your typical plate lunch too

I quit eating fries at Wendy's 10 years ago.

I quit eating Burger King fries even longer ago than that (when they started letting you substitute rings for fries with the combos).

McDonalds has the only acceptable fries of the "big 3".

At Wendy's, I get the value nuggets with the burger instead of fries- much better than their awful fries.

You should do a little research. I provided links on the last page.

You lost me long ago when you said there was ZERO nutrition in any fast food

As if the vegetables and meats are completely artificial

Just ate a 3 meat bbq plate with 2 sides from rouses $8.99. You paid $6.50 for one CFA sandwich and fries. That's what I was referring to. Fast food is not cheap

You're ignoring the drink. And tax. So you would pay over $11 for what I paid $6.50. Im not claiming the food is better, either taste or health wise, but it is cheaper. Not more expensive. Yall can try to argue it all you want, but it's a fact.

I'll take CFA over cold cuts. But thanks for actually giving an example that is equal.

I don't drink soft drinks. I'm not ignoring any drink.

The combo you're arguing for requires you to submit to their guidelines. I want a nice meal, not some soft drink.

You may as well say you're fasting and that your meal costs nothing.

Where you getting a 12" sub with drink and chips for 7 bucks?

That ship at subway has sailed.

Subway can cost you 10-11 bucks if you aren't careful.

I'm about to put a mini fridge in my office and stock it with sandwich stuff and other simple lunches. Traffic just to go eat out can be a big hassle where I'm at

Just wanted to say that I hate these "pissing contests" on f&db, seems very immature. Carry on

I'm glad because I was not trying to be a jerk to you.

Or anyone.

I'm reformed.
