What would you recommend? Only local (to the state) brands for whiskey, gin, rum, vodka, etc.

I like the vodka from Nola distillery. The couple times I’ve been there I’ve been impressed with the cocktails from their bar. You can buy bottles of different kind of spirits but I’m not the one to ask how they compare to other brands.

You’re friends are gonna hate you. Most of the distilled crap here is garbage sauce.

No reason. Just thought it would be cool.

If this isn’t possible then maybe some recommendations for some great local products and liqueurs?

I recently bought/tried every Louisiana based gin:

-Euphrosine #9
-Euphrosine #9 Barrel-Finished
-Euphrosine #9 Bonded
-Louisiana Tradition Nola Gin
-Henry Ramos Gin
-Sugarfield Gin
-3rd Ward Gin
-Gravier
-Gentilly Gin
-Gentilly Gin Barrel Reserve
-Lula Distillery Gin

My Top 3:
1st - Euphrosine #9 (my favorite by a large margin)
2nd - Gentilly Gin
3rd - Gravier

Yes, I have a Gin problem

Bayou Rum.

They used to only have a few selections but lately they have started doing a few others.

Still have a bottle or two of the original distillery's sweet potato vodka.

JT Meleck vodka. Rice distilled vodka in Branch, La. They also just came out with their bourbon during the holidays but production limited right now.

Bayou Rum XO Mardi Gras is a damn fine rum.

I like the Meleck rice vodka. Haven’t tried his bourbon yet.

JT Melek bourbon is very good if you can find it. Best bourbon made in the state, and it’s not even close.

Going to be that guy, but I’m pretty sure it’s American Whiskey and not Bourbon.

Sugarfield spirits. They make whiskey, rum, vodka and other flavored liquors.
