Has anybody used this yet? And if so, how does it work? It looks like a few good restaurants around town have joined so I'm seriously thinking about giving it a shot for work lunches.

Works great in LC. But I do live half a mile from their HQ.

Wish they had like WaitrPrime

I've used it twice. Worked great. The first time the restaurant messed up the order a little bit and Waitr responded to my message immediately, checked on it, and refunded my money for that item.

No issues the second time with the order (different restaurant), but I wasn't sure if I'd left a tip and I messaged with Waitr again, and they were very responsive.

How do you know? Their web site doesn't list the restaurants. You have to download and install the app to find out which restaurants participate. frick that.

We've used it multiple times here in BR. Very satisfied with it - they are constantly adding new restaurants. Food has never arrived cold.

We use it a couple times a week. So easy and it opens up a ton of options for delivery. We use it for donuts on Sunday mornings.. they are always still hot when we get them.

It's a good little fast growing company from Louisiana.

The app is great and the growth of the company is phenomenal. Chris Meaux and his backers are going to make a fortune when they get acquired.

Works great in Lafayette. All tipping is done beforehand in the app. The driver simply shows up with your food. You get a text saying that he/she has picked your order up and is on the way. Food is always still hot, and they have consistently beaten their ETA.

This is gonna kill Takeout Express, which we were using frequently.

I love it. Have used it in Baton Rouge for a few different places and always had prompt delivery and the food has been hot. I felt like one place really gave us small servings compared to what we get at the restaurant but that is on them, not Waitr. I just won't order from that place for to-go items any more. A lot of places won't deliver to me because I am one block south of Highland and that is their cut-off. So it is a bit limited for me. I don't blame them, go south of Highland and it begins getting a bit shady.

Used it about 6 or 7 times so far. Has worked fine for me every time. In my opinion, the app works better than many of the online apps for the actual restaurants.

I've used it to view menus instead of actual restaurant websites because they have photos of most dishes and updated prices.
