Hear that Stack is the place to get a steak. anyone been there or have any other recs? Headed there for a week Sunday.

I've been to most Vegas steakhouses.... For me there are 4 that stand out....
Prime (bellagio) - best place to take a date
Strip steak (Mandalay) - hip/modern vibe
Mastros- in crystals next to aria. They are a chain and not unique to Vegas, but a great overall restaurant/experience
Del friscos - their bone in filet is one of the best steaks I've ever had. Ambience isn't great though and it's off the strip. I'd recommend the New York City location instead
I still need to try Cut and Carnevino. The only steakhouse I've been to in Vegas that really let me down was craft steak. N9ne in the palms is a cool spot as well. I don't think there is a city in the world that has a better collection of steakhouses than Vegas.
Although not a steakhouse, go check out the oyster bar in palace station, it's amazing. Check out their Yelp reviews, it's a local treasure.

The Steakhouse at Circus Circus. Casino is a dump. Restaurant is great. They cook their steaks over charcoal.

Off topic suggestion.
Breakfast. Blueberry Hill Cafe. It is basically a Denny's but much better food.
I was stone cold sober and had the best pancake I've ever eaten. I don't want to know what it is in the pancake batter.

Stk has some great eye candy, but the food was a letdown, on par with mortons. There's a Cut in Los Angeles but I haven't gone because parking is $16.
I'd recommend Gordon Ramsay steakhouse in Paris over stk.

Do you realize Paris is a hotel in Vegas across the street from Cosmo where the aforementioned Stk is located ?
