First Valentine's Day with my SO and we're going to a concert in Houston that night. Looking for a place to catch an early romantic dinner before the show. Venue is the House of Blues but I don't mind driving. Open to any type of cuisine. TIA.

Thanks! I did forget one thing in the OP - NO STEAKHOUSES. She eats her steak well done. Nuff said.

I don't know if I would call Reef romantic. Trendy, sure. It's just one big room. Not intimate at all.

Vic & Anthony's is nearby. Used to go there often before shows downtown

Every place mentioned is booked up, but I'll keep the recs in mind for the future

I'm not opposed to something more casual. We just want a good meal in a nice setting

Just Dinner, its BYOB and in an old renovated house. Most likely booked, but worth a shot.
