Every year we hit up the same 3 restaurants -
Marlin Grill
Cuvee
Louisiana Lagniappe

Looking to sub in another place for Louisiana Lagniappe. Looking for a place with nice steaks/seafood and nice cocktails/wine.

Thanks in advance

Seagar's
Not upscale, but Boshamp's is our family favorite.

Pandora's in Fort Walton used to be really, really good.

Granted, I haven't eaten there in 15 years.

ETA: And it closed down earlier this year.

I agree with Seagar's. It's a great restaurant, but they are proud of it.

Marina Cafe.

Is that the one in the spot that used to be Flamingo? If so, great location and I've never had a bad meal there in all the years I spent in Destin, no matter the name on the side.

I'd skip marlin grill personally.

Like others have said seagars is great.

Have you been to cuvée 30a?

Vintij is also worth checking out

As noted Seagars for steak. I like Stinky's Fish Camp on 30-A is good. Weird name but solid. Cafe 30-A I think is the name, used to be good. I like Louis Louis a lot on Hwy 98. It's owned by that Ollie guy that owns The Red Bar. Same food but not so much the huge crowd. There is a sushi place by Whataburger that does all you can eat for around $22 and it's outstanding! They serve sushi, steak, etc on that lunch special. To me that sushi place is one of the best places there. It's that good! I'll look the name of that sushi place because there are two of them close by and the one North of 98 is not that good. The one I speak of is on the same side as the burger joint. It's in the same group of stores as that Royal Orchid Thai place which by the way is not very good. I think it's called Shan Kishi III. Pretty upscale place.

Yep been to cuvee and loved it. That will be one of our 3 places for sure. Apparently a cuvee kitchen and wine is opening up spring '17 so hopefully they will be open when we get there in late April.

Imo that place is a shell of its former self. Used to be one of our favorites but quality has gone down over the past 4-5 years. Maybe that's why they offer half-priced entrees before 6

Wouldn't doubt it. I lived there from 1999 to late 2004. My parents have a place in Santa Rosa Beach I go see them about once a year. I just don't spend a lot of time in that area anymore. The Ocean Club used to be decent. I think that's the name of that place. It set up in the trees kind of across the street from Applebee's area. That place has grown so much since I lived there. That place Pandora close to The Red Bar had a good prime rib.
