is this thing worth $400.00? Anyone have/ use one? I have the opportunity to pick a new one up for about $150.00.

Purchased this baby for just shy of $180.00 with auction fee and sales tax.

Thanks for all the input folks.

GET IT!
My parents bought me one as a wedding present. I love that thing and use it two or three times a month.

Do it.

I have a 5.5 and a 7.25, plus smaller ones. One of the big ones gets used weekly or more. Love them.

Biggest I've got is a 7 quart. It makes an excellent gumbo pot. BUT beware, that sucker weighs a ton even before you put anything in it. You will get an arm workout taking it out of the cabinet & putting it on the stove.

Get it. I have a 9qt Dutch oven that I use weekly. It's my favorite kitchen item.

It's worth the $400 so definitely do the deal. I want the 15.5 guart Goose Pot but I've been loath to pull the $650.00 trigger.

You got a hell of a deal. I have 7 quart Lodge enameled Dutch oven but I'd love to have huge one. I hope I find a deal like that one day. Congratulations
