Also it COMPLETELY defeats the purpose of the convenience of a cashless transaction.

You ride 10 times a week and haven't noticed in app tipping? Yea, I'll just call BS now

sigh... why is every thread an argument?

btw.. what is that bacon wrapped bleu cheese stuffed ?

Not arguing, asking a question, even though rhetorical since we all know what the answer is, there is no tip capabilities in UberEats.

Truncated word is date, bacon wrapped blue cheese stuffed dates.

The legacy system in NYC is Seemless. It’s available in most large cities. It’s great and we use it all the time. It is addicting though.

The tip is easily added.

Well that's just false

Do I need to tip?

Tips aren't included, but if you want to thank your delivery partner for great service you have the option to leave a tip in the app.

Show me where this is in the app? I just went through it again and don't see it. Uber the tip area is apparent.

South Louisiana has Waitr. Same concept. It started in 2014 in Lake Charles.

Can't tell you where it is, all I can tell you is I've gotten in app tips for UBEReats deliveries. So it's definitely a thing.

Uber says tip is included. That is BS. If your delivery is quick and the food is not tossed all about, tip the driver a few bucks. It's the right thing to do, no matter what Uber claims.

No, if they say tip is included, then tip is included. I would think the uber driver would know whether or not tip is included, after all, they work for uber. If they are unsatisfied with the tipping procedure, then they wouldn't be working for Uber.

Which brings to me my next question, how long have you been an Uber driver?

That's exactly my issue. If I'm ordering for a party or something, sure. But if it's just for me or for my wife and I.. I'll take the 10 minutes to pick up the food.

eta

I suppose an exception to this would be if we were drunk and had no food around. Then a delivery would be clutch.
