Mine got to 4 inches tall last week so I replanted them from the tiny square containers (2x2) to pots that are about one quart size.
We are still experiencing the coldest spring in my memory. It's almost May and the temps at night get down to 40 in Shreveport.

My tomato plants are doing ok, my squash and eggplant look bad. Put in ground too early, the cold weather and the good bit of rain have held them back. Hopefully a week or two of warm dry weather will get them going. If not, may cut bait and go buy some more started plants.

Same for me. I may cut my losses and start over this weekend

On the good side. This abnormally cool spring is saving me a lot of money on heat/AC. I just leave the central unit on 'off.'

Does anyone use this?

My parents swear by this every week with a little calcium added in.

It's my first year, soil is very sandy, dark, with alot of sticks, so I'm blaming that and the weather for a few leaves being yellow. That and over watering

No doubt it works and does just about any other fertilizer.

The trick with Miracle Gro is that you have to use it regularly. (Like you parents, weekly) The nutrients don't last long once the water has evaporated.

For me a better solution is to use a time released granular - or even better - composted manure. I spray calcium on the plants to help prevent blossom end rot.
