Died at the age of 84 years old. For those that don't know him, he owned TJ Ribs, Ruth's Chris and Ninfa's (and maybe a few others?) in Baton Rouge.

Per WAFB.

I heard. I had reservations for Ruth's Chris Saturday night and they called me this morning to cancel because they will be closed for a memorial event.

How good service is that? dude passed away last night and they are already calling reservations to let them know of the situation. Kudos to Ruth's Chris.

He opened Ruffino's (originally as Dinardo's, of course).

Dinardo's

TJ knew how run a restraunt though. No coincidence the quality of most of those places fell off once he sold them.

He was an integral part of Ninfa's and their 90's era success.
