It was....their Wed special. Like I said, I guess I can't expect great things for that price.

Been a couple of times to the one in BR and came out satisfied fir what I paid. FWIW, I ordered the ribeye both times and it was good but thin.

I have no problems with this restaurant. If I want a 12 dollar steak with no frills, it's hard to beat. Their chili is damn good.

I've never been, pictured it along the lines of Logan's quality, how does it compare to that?

blows the doors off logans, etc.. It's my go to place to sit at the bar, have a cold one, and get some prime rib, killer fries, and fresh green beans for 12 bucks. can't beat it.

I've been excited to see Texas Roadhouse or Outback signs more times than I can count. When one is traversing the US interstate system with no clue of, or directions to the local culinary scene they come in real handy. At the very least the beer is cold and comes in bigass mugs.

They are pretty good, cheap prices but nothing to compare a really fine steak to. You get what you pay for!!

Yup.

If you go into one of these establishments expecting a "really fine steak", the problem lies not with the establishment, but you. There is a reason that A-1 is on all the tables at these places, but not at a place like Ruth's or Smith & Wollensky.

I think the thread made it clear they realized what they were paying for. And were happy with a twelve dollar steak. Nothing wrong with that.
