Camarena Reposado. Only about $20 and suits me just fine.

That's where i entered into my love of tequila. You can do a lot better. Just make sure it's 100% agave. There are so many flavors and it's fun to try different ones. My girl likes corralejo, i like cimarron reposado.

Tequila is fricking delicious and anyone who doesn't like it has not had decent tequila.

I just recommended it in my post above. It's my go to. My ex and i did a blind taste test of 5 tequilas we had and we both picked cimarron. Many more expensive than it. For 26 bucks a liter i think it's unreal value. Bottle is fricking great too.

It may be slightly overpriced compared to some other tequilas but I think it’s pretty damn tasty. It has definitely got me into trying different tequilas

Went this morning and picked up a bottle of Espolon.

Made a margarita with

2 oz Espolon
1 oz Cointreau
1 oz fresh lime juice
Tiny dash of agave nectar

Was a fantastic margarita. I’ll play with the portions slightly but solid stuff

Cotigo is a fairly new brand. The blanco would be what you're looking for.

Tres Agaves is a solid buy, about $31.

Anybody try Teremana? It's the one The Rock just released? I think it's also about $30

Fortaleza Blanco is the best tequila for the money at around ~$40.

Tres agave
Espolon
Hornitos (I love the anejo)

Are 3 good tequilas for beginners. Blanca for margaritas. Reposado and anejo for sipping.

I also like:

Casamigos (Reposado & Mezcal)
Don Julio Anejo
El Mayor
Casa Noble

I picked up a couple of bottles of Teremana (the Rock's tequila brand), and liked the blanco more than the Reposado. Both Bottles were pretty cheap, too ($25 and $35).

Almost bought some of the Blanco but I couldn't find reviews that weren't paid advertisements.
