Try Tucker Meats. Brockett Road in Tucker. Closed today

There is also a meat market on Hwy 78 in Loganville area. I don't know the name, but I see it driving back and forth to Athens.

Tucker Meats ... been there once. Wasn't looking for temple meat at the time though. I'll check them out.

Gonna check the spot in Loganville too.

Thanks.

The one in Loganville is called "Corner's Edge."

They said they don't have it and can't get it. I've driven by there a few times, never noticed the place.

FYI, there's a sno-ball trailer maybe a quarter mile down the road, across the highway from the Wells Fargo and Kroger. It's legit, they have the right machine and syrups. Wife has us take the drive out there for a sno-ball once a week once it warms up.

Progress!

One other place to try...maybe.

There is, or used to be a meat market on Five Forks between RR Parkway and Killian Hill.

Looking forward to trying this place.

As an aside. 45 minutes from Tucker to Roswell yesterday. 17 miles. And no big wrecks.

Anyone who moves here, unless chronically unemployed and with no options, is crazy.

Been to Cajun Meat Market before, and I'll be checking out AJ's next time I'm out there. I looked up AJ's when you rec'd it the other day and had already decided that I would make the drive for a visit to both businesses (when I saw they're across from each other), but just one wasn't worth the drive from Lawrenceville without having business in Marietta.

DeKalb farmer's market doesn't carry it. I've been there several times. Their seafood selection is good. Only place I've found fresh, not frozen, Louisiana crawfish tails.

The only downside to the place is that it's so damn big, it's hit or miss as to whether you can find an employee that speaks English with enough proficiency to ask if they can order something fir you.

Place is awesome. Hard to imagine more nationalities under one roof than there.

What are you going to use the temple meat for? Just curious.

Little known fact: Cochon uses temple meat and passes them off as "cheeks" in their appetizer. I wasn't pleased to hear that. It's like getting swai when you order catfish.

Jambalaya. Maybe freeze some and use it in a future pastalaya. Depending on how much I have to buy in order to procure the stuff, possibly portion it out for several future jambalayas.
