The reason is they put on twice as much cheese as most places, as well as giving banana peppers. It really isnt that great, or that bad. It is a typical American food join that usually has above average atmosphere

Which location do you think has terrible service?
I've been to the downtown NOLA location a few times recently and the service has been great.

They are good but Chimes has better cheese fries.
Walkons is what it is. Average food but a good place to drink and watch the game. And their waitresses/bartenders are good looking more often than not.

People like to shite on walk ons but its not a terrible place to grab a quick lunch. Don't go expecting a 5 star meal but for $15 you can get a decent sandwich, fries, and a beer.

This is how I feel about it. Prices on beer can be a little high but it isnt crazy. The food is fine for what it is. You can get a damn good chicken sandwich there and I enjoy the bang bang shrimp. Just dont go looking for some out of this world "cajun" cooking but it might be pretty good for the Dallas area.
