Ted Brennan to reopen Brennan's?!?

Well that stinks.

I would hope that the old Brennan's (Ted's place) would occupy a permanent seat in the ain''t there no more library.

Ralph and his partners are putting up lots of money for a massive renovation. Ralph builds, and operates, restaurants pretty well. I'd expect it to be basically a new restaurant.

To clarify, I mean they are still going to serve turtle soup, egg dishes, and seafood, but most likely it will be edible. Which is a significant step up from what was previously being served on Royal St.

The cash-strapped Brennan's Incorporated was forced to sell the Royal Street property at auction in May to pay creditors. So there was a chance one or both of the warring brothers could have reopened the old Brennan's at a new location. If the bankruptcy court has not yet moved to liquidate the company, that may still be a possibility.

also, not in this article but I read something in Nola a week or so ago asking about the fate of the exceptional wine in the cellar on the premises. will be interesting to see how this plays out. although for me it reinforces yet again why I'd rather give me business to other establishments than those owned by this As The World Turns modeled family.
