If they ever DC the cheesy gordita crunch I will never go back

Double Decker Taco was great, but they keep bringing back other similar things on the dollar menu a few times per year

I went to Taco Bell last month for the first time in probably 2 years. I was disgusted. I used to love Taco Bell, but I got a crunchwrap and I couldn't finish it. The inside was a mushy mess with no flavor. The Bell has really gone down in the past few years.

Every trip I have ever made to taco bell was centered around the Mexican Pizza. Everything else has been a compliment.

I look at the menu occasionally nowadays but don't ever make the trip.

I recall they had mini tacos at one time and they were like .29 cents. Load up on Dr. Pepper and like 10 of them!!!

Discovered one location in Houston (Shepherd/San Felipe) still has them. But they're $2.29, which is ridiculous. These were 79c, 99c, and then 1.19 for the longest time.

Same. I got one every time. Every though it wasn't nearly as good as it used to be, and overpriced at 3.99, I still found myself ordering them.

my TB got rid of that long ago and I was pissed, (Ordered with extra Baja sauce). Would love to have the volcano menu back and I remember in the 90’s they did .39 hard tacos on Sunday’s, we would have that after church. I miss the grande soft taco too, along with many things already mentioned on the thread

Meximelt

It was the only reason I went. Even after they went all the way from $.39 to eventually $1.59. The Meximelt is the only fast food item I desire.

By the way they can be made at home and fairly well and easy. There are copycat recipes on the internet

I now have to get a taco and bean burrito and combine. It's more than the cost of the old double decker, but it's a little bigger than the original. I don't eat it every day, so I make do.
