What's the deal with this stuff? Picked some up at albertsoms. Don't believe I've ever used it.

I find it's a little bit on the spicier side than a louisiana product

I think it's good. Never tried it until moving to Texas, but alot of friends here swear by it, and they have had some really good boils.

Only one I use. The seasoning itself is very fine granules.

i was going to try it until i read the instructions... i think it said pour half in the pot

then dump crawfish in the ice chest and pour the rest in the ice chest

Would cover all your bases with that method. Right?

I have to say Im intrigued with the combo Boil, soak for 20, Icechest w/ sprinkle for 20. Im going to give it a go at some point this season. Probably late when they are cheap, big, and hard.

never had it, I'm a Chackbay fella, all I use. My brother uses Mr. Petes, has a citrus hint to it, I like it as well but you cant find it anymore.

Love the stuff. I have a shaker that I put it in and bring with me whenever I eat crawfish. Dust the dads, potato and corn with it before eating. It's become a deal at the place I go to in Houston with the regulars - stop at Best Stop and get swamp dust for everyone who requests it.
