Downtown soul food joint, Eight Sisters best smothered chick I've ever had. Lots of cool places in the area but that's my fav.

I'll third the magnolia cafe burger. They also go a fine pulled pork sandwich. Or sammich as glassman calls them.

Josey, had a few cool pops with father Wales yesterday.

The Oxbow was very good the last time I was there.

I've never been as impressed as other folks with Magnolia Cafe. Nothing I've had there has been all that good. Probably has a decent burger.

The Myrtles restaurant has changed ownership/management a number of times. Haven't been to the latest installment, so if someone recommends it, find out when they last ate there. Things change over time.
