I was going to take me my wife and another couple early on a game day before a Saints game. They wanted a $10 cover to go sit and have a burger. That's $40 not counting our meal. We high tailed it to the Alibi and our total bill was $62....... Walk Ons will never see a dime from me.

Wish I had walked over there and gotten a drink. Was too busy running the daiquiri whacker.

It goes towards your tab. I understand this policy on game days.

What do you mean, they would have knocked $40 off his bill?

Usually

It's just to ensure that you spend something and don't just hoard a chair

Canebrake is $6.
Yep. And I don't know if they did away with happy hour, but I used to be able to go before baseball games and have a few drinks at a fair price. Now, it's $11 martinis and $6 Canebrakes on my tab...Sweet. $80 w/ tip for a couple rounds of drinks and an app. I don't know if the prices are keeping people away on game days, but they definitely aren't as busy as they used to be before baseball games.

PBR is $2.50 there all day/every day.

Yes. They have tabs or something on the wrist bands. The bartender or waitress takes the tabs and discounts your bill.

Never knew that. Usually that line is around the building though before a game.

Are you talking about N.O. before Saints? Or B.R. before baseball?

I mingled the two, but the NOLA location makes you pay a $10 deposit(so to speak) before games.
BR does the same on football days I think. Or they tried to. I don't know. I don't go to WalkOns unless there is a baseball game on. One can only eat so many cheese fries.

Why in the hell would anybody want to go to Walk Ons before a Saints game? It's called tailgating, do it.

$6 draft beers are getting out of hand. A Hopitoulas at a dive bar down the street from the freakin brewery is $6. I refuse to pay that.
