So i'm gonna make some of these later this evening for the game tomorrow. How can I heat these up tomorrow if I smoke them tonight? Or are they alright cold?
eta: Also, are the shallots necessary?

I've heated up left over ones in the oven before and they come out ok.
Going buy stuff to prep some of these for tomorrow as well but I'll be using shrimp and duck but might pickup some smokies too. On the shrimp ones I plan to try putting a slice of pineapple in them and see how that works. I don't have a smoker though so they'll go on the grill.

Not that ABTs need it but some raspberry chipotle glaze is really good on them. I usually buy the one from Target.

I am sure you can just re heat in the oven...they probably wont be as good as fresh but not bad. Ate some cold ones last night but that was after plenty bourbons so who knew how they tasted
Id say you could put anything you want in that mix. If you dont want them dont put them. I used chilli powder becasue I didn't have chipotle.
Not sure how the shrimp and duck will come out. I guess if your just grilling them for a short time might be ok. I would think over higher heat the cream cheese mix might melt and come out. Let us know how it works out.
Raspberry chipotle glaze does sound like it would be real good on dat. I was also thinking maybe boudin in place of the smokies.

Might just get early tomorrow morning and throw them on

You can prep them tonight and stick them in the fridge. I ran mine for 2.5hrs at 225ish. Also in case yall missed it earlier I would get smaller peppers or not cut the bacon in hlaf. I would have liked another wrap or two on the peppers. And get regular thin bacon not the thick stuff.

Did this recipe last Saturday but used shrimp instead of smokies. It was very good but will try this one tomorrow.

So you smoked them for a cpl hrs with the shrimp or a faster bbq type cook?

Slow indirect heat. Bacon kept it insulated from over cooking

Nice! Will try shrimp next. Got a cpl other things I want to try first tho like some meatball onion bombs.

I made some tonight but ran out of bacon so I have about 12 more to wrap in the morning. I'm using smaller jalapenos and using a whole bacon strip for each. These things take a good while to make so they better be good

Yea they are a little labor intensive. Don't over wrap them it might stop the bacon from cooking. Idk this was my first try at them...
