We were out and about Saturday and decided to have lunch there. Was not expecting the boil and roux vibe so to speak. Not that it matters but majority culcha!

As far as the food, it was not the worse fried shrimp I have tried

service was surprisingly good

Been twice
The overstuffed shrimp po-boy was great the first time (had over 4 dozen shrimp)
The second time there, my wife ordered the overstuffed shrimp po-boy, it maybe had a dozen.

Boil and Roux is my new go-to seafood place
Been there 3 times and never disappointed

Shrimp Basket, from my 2 visits, is hit and miss
I'll give them one more chance

We have been to the one in Hattiesburg - also one in Orange Beach. There are other places I would rather spend my fried shrimp money.

I did not think it was bad but I cant see myself going back. I can get better fried seafood at a dozen other places nearby.

You went to a place called "Shrimp Basket" and didn't expect cultcha?

How does a business, if it wanted to, shake the cul'cha that frequents it?

Hypothetically speaking of course.

Price them out, require a dress code.
