I've done superior, walk ons, and all the boardwalk eats, looking for something new. Any Recs?

I'm a big fan of poboy express. Get the ragin Cajun. Or something like strawns for your typical diner food and great pie. And last but not least my favorite new eats in Shreveport, ki Mexico for their specialty tacos. Delicious!

As the above poster mentioned, Ki Mexico is a must if you like Mexican that isn't Tex Mex. They do creative things with traditional Mexican ingredients and the vibe is hip but not hip-ster. I've never had a bad meal here, but the Cochinita tacos are probably my favorite. Great place to get fresh Great Raft on tap too.
If you want more traditional, relatively-authentic Mexican, Michocana on Youree is the best in town and is criminally slept-on. The food is cheap and awesome, my go-to being the lengua burrito (the burritos are huge) and a banana milkshake (easily the lightest, most refreshing shake I've ever had.)
What else?.. Sushi Gen or Sake Sushi for sushi, but Gen gets my vote. Danh's Garden for Thai. Imperial Cathay (formal) or China Dragon (HITW) for Chinese. Hickory Stick for BBQ. Some will try to say Indigo's over India's Restaurant for Indian food; do not listen. For Louisiana food, Crawdaddys is probably best but I'm basing this off what I've heard and the near-perfect crawfish I had the only time I've ever been. Anything else, ask I guess. Hope this helps.
And oh if you do go to Strawn's, get the butterscotch pie. Dark horse pick but it's the best, imo.

Driven by this place a thousand times and I keep forgetting about it. I have heard nothing but good things about the BBQ.

It's ok. It is one of our go-to places when I don't feel like cooking.
It's a serviceable BBQ joint.

Those are solid recommendations.
Marilynn's was just okay to me when it started, but it seems to have improved and is up on my list now. I like their fried catfish, etouffee, and gumbo. The combo plate for $13.95 is the way to go. It says you get two smaller portions of any two items, but damned if it doesn't look like full size portions to me.
Went once for lunch and thought it was pretty good and reasonably priced. We had the Navajo tacos and a chicken salad sandwich, both good. The dinner menu looks pricey. I want to go back and try more items. I hear mixed reviews from others.

You kidding me? The Lamb Vindaloo at Indigo is awesome. It's an off-menu item, but it's amazing.
And Bella Fresca Bistro, Wine Country and Zocolo's are all also worth a look.

I was a little underwhelmed by MP. But it is a great atmosphere. OP if you have a dog you can bring it to hang out. Also Im on team indigo when it comes to Indian food also if you like burgers no one has mentioned grub burger. It's a chain but I thought it was great

I was very disappointed when I went to the new location a few weeks ago. The mushroom burger has been pulled from the menu and my wife was very underwhelmed by the whole place. It was much better in the old location with the old menu.

I would say that Bella Fresca, Chianti, and possibly a couple of others are better than Wine County.
The rest of your list is full of pretty good suggestions. Ki Mexico is good but I think Parish Taco is neck and neck with them in that realm.

I'll agree. At the old location, she was making everything from scratch, even the ketchup at one point.

I've been to all the high end places in Shreveport, and I still keep going back to Wine Country the most. I believe it has improved greatly over the last couple of years and I look forward to seeing what they can do in the new space.

I still need to go check out Parish. Downtown is just rarely convenient for me. Heard good things though.
I'll add Franks to my list as well.

On my way to Haughton right now. Looking for a quick semi healthy lunch spot around there or right off 49, Driving back to BR after, so quick is key.

I wouldn't call it semi-healthy but go hit Sliver Star BBQ by the Downs if you are in Haughton. Can get a chicken if you want to stay a little leaner.

that's like saying "I have hit mcdonalds, burger king, and Wendy's. Anything else I should check out?"

Let me know if/when you make it down to parish taco. I need to try it as well.
