I believe someone mentioned Dexter Russel earlier. These are mine. I like the rubber comfort handles.

I have quite a few Shun knives. My kids buy me one or two for Christmas each year.

Victronix chef's knife.
Not in love with it, but it's sharp.

That is a nice set of knives. For you guys that dont want to spend a ton of $ , look at the ceramic ones. Im a purist in the kitchen but they are incredibly sharp and lighter. My 14" Henckel is awesome for me but Ive had that size knive in my hand for a long time.

We have a set of Wusthof, but I'm slowly building a Cutco collection. I'm a big fan.

At $30+ for an 8" Chef's knife, this is what I use. I also like the handle. Beware though because the soft printed handles (fish scenes, etc) are very slippery.

Some of mine. Those silver handle Rada knives are cheap as shite but will circumcise a gnat when they're new. The edge doesn't last real long, but the sharpen back up pretty well. Have some Dexters at the camp I really like...

How are the Victorinox knives?

LINK

These Zwilling J.A. Henckles Knives also seem sweet.

Might select some from both collections for my wedding registry to give people options.
