Seeking advice on electric smokers

I live in a high-rise condo and by law can't use anything with an open flame, so if I'm going to get into smoking it must be electric. It's my understanding that this can still work pretty well. What are y'all's thoughts on this? Any good recs on a small smoker? I'm not looking to cook for a crowd just yet, just something to start out with for myself and play around with.

I use a BGE now but used to have a master built smoker. I loved bein able to set time and temp and let it go.
Don't get one with a window, it serves no purpose and just gets covered eventually.

Thanks for the link, but that seems more involved than what I'm looking for. But I did some more browsing on that site and think I may go with this Old Smokey.

I've got a Masterbuilt and love it.

Is that Smokin Tex smaller than the one I linked? The one I want is about 24" tall. It will cook say a 16 turkey. Not sure of the model. Goodwood Hardware had it.

Cook shack is the best, smoking tex is good and a little cheaper.

If you have the option to do charcoal, you've got to do charcoal. You won't get near the flavor on an electric as you would with charcoal had hardwood chunks.

I had the electric smokehouse and loved it.The smoke flavor was there but not overpowering.Mine held heat and moisture.I had it for 5 years before the element gave out. I bought the MasterBuilt XL propane smoker.Great smoke flavor and lots of room.I got both of them at BassPro.

I bought the masterbuilt xl propane smoker a few weeks ago and used it last week. Loved it. Whatever you buy, Google what you buy plus modifications. People are always modifying these things and there is a ton of info out there

I have the Masterbilt electric and still have the 20 year old Old Smokey. Set the temp
And geaux to bed. Outstanding smoker. I think these electric smokers do a fine job unless you are cooking 200 lbs of meat.
So easy to use.
