Hebert's on Jefferson sells it by the quart. If you want it by the gallon, you could probably call them.

Same with Bergeron's City Market/catering. You could call them. I haven't had that one.

Make your thread title more specific and you may get more responses.

Good luck.

I think this closed down, which I was sad about at first, but Robert on Highland bought all of their coolers and is carrying their products.

Dempsey's is where I would buy gumbo if I was buying it, OP. I'll have to try Hebert's soon.

Serops on Corporate makes a great seafood gumbo. Give Sammi a call and ask about buying it by the gallon

Oh wow, I hadn't heard that. My brother used to go there when he was in BR to load up on things for my Mom and I, but he started going to the Prairieville location instead. I think that's where most of the food is made because at the Bocage location, the stickers said "Prairieville" on them.

My Mom really likes the chicken and sausage and the seafood gumbos, now that she can't cook any longer. I think they're both good. Not quite enough sausage in the chicken for my taste, but tasty. The seafood is mostly shrimp and a generous amount with good flavor as well.

Thanks. LL advised me of that earlier.

We bought a good bit there frequently and never experienced that issue.
