Went to Screamin' Mimi's pizza tonight. Very good, not amazing. Slices are huge. $2 and 50cents a topping. And they are generous with the toppings.

Thinking of checking out Your Pie on Sandfly Friday night. I am not very familiar with that area. Have you tried any places out that way?

Sandfly

Actually yes, I was there for lunch today at Great Harvest Bread Company. It is fantastic. They make everything in house and actually grind their own wheat for the bread. Great scones, cookies, and other pastries as well. Try the Dakota Bread.

Other places I've been:

Driftaway-chef owned and operated. Always solid.
Cutter's Point-nice local coffee shop.
Locs Chicken and Waffles-just ok.
Heiwa-sushi/Japanese place that I found to be not good at all. But only went there once.
Sandfly BBQ-Best I've had in Savannah.

There is also a Jalapeno's there. Don't like it as much as the one on the Island. Not that the one there is all that great. But it's cheap and cheap margs.

I have only had Jalapeno's once (Island location) and it was really bad. I did get it takeout though and Mexican food isn't usually good unless really fresh. Have you tried the new Cilantros?

No way I am recommending Jalapeno's to anyone on this board. I'm less picky than most.

Cilantro's was a step up I would say. Apparently Tequila's Sunrise, downtown on Whitaker, is good.

Have you had the Mcdonalds on the island? Which do you prefer the Publix or the Kroger location?

My real go to is the Subway inside the Wal Mart.
