I will be passing through the Memphis area on my way to Paducah, KY around lunch time on Saturday.

What are my can't miss spots along I-55 to I-40 East bound?

Gus's is the best meal in Memphis, and it just happens to be fried chicken.

Don't hesitate, 4. Just go to Gus's.

Hog & hominy is best overall for lunch. Or Gus's if u want fried chicken. There is a Gus's in east Memphos that is less out of ur way than the downtown location. It's at poplar and mendedhall.

There's only one correct answer: GUS's. It is a religious experience.

We won't be headed downtown as we have a trailer loaded up with hunting gear for the week. Gus' may be a place to stop on the way back, however.
