Just read the thread on royal reds flavor. Would like to try em.

I don't know of anyone that carries them in Baton Rouge. I used to at my market but I have been closed for a few years. You may want to try Tony's Seafood or Tommy's Fish House in Prarieville.

I don't think I've ever seen them at Tonys. I've seen them at the Westwego Shrimp lot before. Mostly see them in Florida.

The FreshMarket in Perkins Row has them sometimes.

I would request them at your local seafood market. I used to get them from a company out of Bayou La Batre, AL. They have two different companies from that area that deliver into the Baton Rouge area several times a week.

Thanks for the info. Will talk to one of the managers at Tonys and see what they can do.

I'm pretty sure Tommy's Fish House would get them for you if you requested it.

FYI, they all come frozen. They freeze them on the boat. I buy mine when we travel to AL or FL. Here is a reasonable online link. Billie's.

I know for a fact that Tommy can get them. He buys shrimp out of Alabama.
In fact, Tommy supplies Tony's Seafood in Baton Rouge with a lot of their shrimp.

Bayou La Batre does have a lot of shrimp.

Joe Pattis has these (Pensacola) and they are very reasonable to have shipped. Their price is 6.69 right now w/o heads.

Their prices are pretty good but to have them shipped will cost an arm and a leg. With the shipping container and freight charges you are looking at another $5-$8 per pound over their shrimp prices(depending on the weight you are shipping).

You serious, Clark? Royal Reds? In Westwego? Never would've guessed it.
