Ronnie's is moving to that new little strip mall they're building in front of Broadmoor Shopping Center.
Closer to my house. Another month taken off of my lifespan.

Good, that place is a shithole.

isn't that just like a block over?

They need to expand their lunch options and I imagine they will.
But some great sandwiches can be had next door at Our Daily Bread.

Did the location on Florida flood?

No, I think they just needed to get out of that terrible building.

New location is half a mile closer to my house, will have A/C that works (allegedly), will have way more tables, and will serve a full menu of po'boys and plate lunches. That's what I was told the last time I wandered in on a Saturday with a hankering for that sweet sweet cased meat.

Hopefully the move re-energizes the staff, it's been going down hill...last few times I walked in the staff are sitting at a table and start moaning and groaning about having to get up

Wherever they go, I wish them luck. Good people and good food.

Place still smells like Fried Chicken even though Cajun Chicken closed 20 years ago.

Was that an old Burger King before that?

What's wrong with fried chicken? Or boudin? Or cracklin?
Posted on 9/27/16 at 1:58 am to Fewer Kilometers
Never had their boudin, but their cracklin is the best.

Burger King was next door on the right, now a used car lot.
Ronnie's was Cajun Fried Chicken.. Good Chicken till a former employee robbed the place, shooting and killing the manager in the process.
The Orignal Nooley's was on the left side

I remember that now.
Wasn't that a Nooley's next to Broadmoor Theater before barber shop? Got my hair cut there for years.
ETA: A tough read

Humm cool find.
Wesley's Pizza was next to the Barber shop at Broadmoor.
Wesley later bought the Pastime.

Nooley's was directly to the left of the current Ronnie's location.
