I have eaten in about every good establishment in Baton Rouge. I went to LSU. I go to BR on a regular basis, both for work and for the games.

I was THRILLED when I found a new discovery this weekend. I drove down to St. Gabriel and ate at Roberto's.... OH MY!

Some of the best food for the price in a while. Fried green tomatoes were amazing. The chicken & sausage gumbo was the best restaurant gumbo I have ever eaten.

WORTH the drive.

It's really not that far of a drive. 20 minutes from campus. It takes 15-20 minutes to get anywhere in BR.

I never know what to get. Someone else paying it's usually the beef tournedos(spl) or the duck. If I'm paying, Stuffed catch of the day (always black drum)

Very nice Brie and crab soup and does a great roasted duck. Upper his wine a bit too.

And your one word title anchored this.
