Anyone been to the restaurant, Rebirth, in NOLA? It keeps popping up in my Facebook new feed and the pictures are really mouth watering. Any reviews?

I went for New Years eve because I could not get in anywhere else. It was surprisingly good. Steak was fantastic. Others raved about the fish dishes. Nice atmosphere, good service. We ran them out of the good champagne but I was glad about that.

I'd definitely go back. I was extremely hesitant about trying a new restaurant for NYE, but they delivered.

Just looked at the website and 40 photos on Yelp. Food looks very good and the menu looks good. The only thing I didn't like was the look of the oysters. I prefer more of a cornmeal crust. Did you happen to have a fried oyster with any dish?

I think I did get oysters on top of my steak. I was with my West Palm Beach friends and the $cotch and champagne flowed like water. After the restaurant ran out of the $675 bottles of champagne, we had to settle for Dom. It's a rough life sometimes.

ETA: I don't remember the oysters being bad or good. sorry!

I haven't been so I have no idea of the prices. You might try Yelp to see if someone posted a pic of a menu.

I was not that impressed. I do not recommend the seafood pot thing at all

The oysters over angel hair were pretty good.

Went last night and really enjoyed it. Listened to recommendations on here and from yelp.

Cornbread: excellent
Oysters on angel hair: excellent
Soup de Jour: very flavorful but hot. Shrimp and crawfish chowder.
Filet MR with crab meat and chimchurri sauce: A little over cooked but very rich and good.
Cafe Au Lait Cream Brulee: delicious
