Meh, they've expanded the menu and I like how you can order everything online but food, service, tables, etc still are meh.

I did one in Thibodaux Luke 2 weeks ago. GF wanted to eat so we sit at the bar, sticky. Like put your phone down and you hear it peeling off. The bartender was absent as she was outside on her phone and another employee went to get her. Guess she was having a bad day because she was standoffish, short, etc. I can deal with that but she also didn't refill drinks which was bigger than the attitude

I am sure different locations provide different experiences, and I doubt

Every Chili's I've ever been to has sticky tables/bar areas. Usually they have a lot of food options but nothing good. Guess that with some of the service puts me off considering they have other options I find better.

Just a preference, I don't find anything that I would want. I mean the food has never tasted bad (outside of being cold or wrong) but just very meh.

I can't comment on Applebee's since I last ate at one probably 15 years ago. However, Chili's to me hasn't been good. The one in Gonzales, Seigen, and Thibodaux ruined me I think.

I've eaten at 3 different Buffalo Wild Wings in 3 different cities. Terrible, terrible service at all 3. Will never eat at another Buffalo Wild Wings.

Pluckers on Bluebonnet has gone to shite, and I love Pluckers, but i'm not going back there. The last 3 times we've gone there it's been a terrible experience.
First visit of those 3, we are seated and it takes almost 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and take our drink orders. I can understand a few minutes, but we sat there forever waiting for someone to come by. Throughout the visit, the waitress could not be found. she came to our table twice the entire visit. Once to take our order, and to bring the bill. Only time in my life i did not leave a tip at all.

2nd visit, walked in and there were a few people waiting, maybe 2 or 3 other parties of 4 like us. after hearing it will be a 15-20 minute wait, i take my kid to the bathroom. There were 8 tables availalbe as i walked through. I came back and asked them if they take reservations. She looked at my confused and said no. I then said then why are people waiting when there are 8 tables availalbe right now. She gave me some stupid excuse that they need to get them ready and i said i was only counting the ones that were clean. There were 4 more that were dirty. she huffed and started another excuse and i said forget it i'm leaving.

third visit, was seated and waited 8 minutes before finally getting up from the table and leaving b/c no one came to the table.

to top that off, we ordered to go from them after all this a few weeks later and they got the order wrong.

If i want Pluckers, i drive out of my way and go to the one by LSU.

Thin meat. Plus they market that its cheaper, but only by two to three dollars, and I will pay 2-3 dollars for a better cooked, thicker patty every time.

Outback.

They went down hill to me about 3 or 4 years ago. Used to be an ok option for a cheaper steakhouse meal, but not anymore.

Pluckers and BWW both suck

I make my own wings and blue cheesw dip these days. Made 26 wings this past Saturday. Between the wings, blue cheese, sour cream, mayo, oil, flour, egg wash, and sauce cost me no more than $15. Good luck finding 15 wings for that price these days let alone 26.

I can get a 30 piece, 2 flavors around the corner from me for $15.99.

And I don't have to make them.

Certainly different market segments if you looking for an 8-10oz burger. Swamp Room, Beachcorner, The Harbor, Lakeview Harbor, etc. fit that bill for me.

I'm well versed on this subject, being a member of the keto paintrain who's been logging meals for 2 years now. The key is the ask for an extra patty. My go-to at mooyah, is the mooyah, add extra patty for $3, on lettuce wrap, so 10.6oz of beef for ~$9.

Mooyah:
Double Burger - 2 x 3.3oz patties = 6.6oz
Mooyah Burger - 1 x 5.3oz patty = 5.3 oz

Smashburger:
Regular Smash - 1 x 4.5oz
Big Smash - 1 x 6.4oz

Five Guys:
Little Cheeseburger - 1 x 3.3oz = 3.3oz
Cheeseburger - 2 x 3.3oz = 6.6oz

Company Burger:
The Company Burger - 2 x 3.25oz = 6.5oz
Single Burger - 1 x 5.5 oz = 5.5oz

Atomic Burger: 2 x 2.5oz patties = 5oz
