Politz in Thibodaux
Some lady in the office recommended this spot for lunch one day. TERRIBLE. Felt like everyone in that place was over 80 years old. Crazy that it's terrible food and packed daily. These Thibodaux people don't know shite about good food.
I'll also add Bubba's II and Santa Fe in Thibodaux as places to never eat at.

Johnny's PoBoy's - had a bad fried oyster poboy there recently and got sick as a dog. It's just one time, but sometimes that's all it takes.

Santa Fe is the same everywhere, not just the Thibodaux location. Politz is pretty bad, another place in Thibodaux that I find bad is over by the library. Known for their Bloody Mary, not sure the name but everything I've had tasted the same.

Agreed, my family owns a place in Madisonville and I'm curious to see if its them. WaterStreet Bistro.

Because I am missing out on dishes like 'imperial tilapia ?' If you live In a seafood magnet like Louisiana and willingly eat at a place like that you need your head examined.
Bonefish grill is everything that is wrong with American dining. You think a place two hours from the gulf that nonetheless proudly serves Vietnamese sewer fish actually imports 'Kobe beef?' Look at their menu. It's a fricking joke. There is no such thing as 'American Kobe,' you, and anyone who goes there, is being played.
For that matter I refuse to go to any place the blatantly lies about having Kobe beef like that.

Its pretty difficult to get put on my blacklist. For the most part Im pretty laid back and not the type to send things back or get bent out of shape easily.
But the one place I refuse to ever step foot in again, even if its free, is Buffalo Wild Wings.
I have had terrible experiences ever time I have gone. Food, service, clientele, it all sucks.

My takeout there was warm but had a hair in it too.

Jones creek café.....its gotdamn awful. If your not over 75 then don't go. The chargrilled oysters were rubbery and not chargrilled, the seafood salad was like cat food and our waitress was drunker than cooter brown and had voice like coach O.

I like the fish there and promise you it's never been tilapia.
Only one over ever eaten at is one on Madison miss, been there several times and it's always good.
Not sure what your deal is

Usually takes 3 bad visits for me to discard a restaurant but a combination of all things makes me hate it. Especially when they have other places just as good or better that I've never had a bad experience.

See my first post. They are a place that uses crappy ingredients and dresses up the product with a bunch of meaningless adjectives or outright lies about it to fool you into thinking you're having some grand meal. I've been reading a lot about fraud and misrepresentation in the industry Lately and this is one of the worst offenders. Even if it tastes good, out of principle I won't go there.

Doe's. Every time I've been they've turned my overpriced steak into leather.
I can't speak for all the locations but I had an incredible meal at the original in greenville.

Along the same lines with your reasoning I hate that we have two fcking Landrys in NOLA. I make it my mission to talk people out of going there, especially to the one on the lake.

I've literally shat black the last two times I went.
Now that's a literal "blacklist".
I'm not saying they're great (I've only been to the ones in BR), but they have made improvements. I've been one of their biggest critics but I'll give some credit where it's due.

FWIW, they're not as bad as they used to be.
The one in Shreveport is awful. It is basically Chilis.
