Stopping through town looking to grab a good bite to eat... Any suggestions?

Wait til you're out of Montgomery.

If only there was somewhere that people could get together and discuss restaurants and food.

If you're downtown, SaZa has the best Greek pizza I've had in my life. What kind of meal are you looking for?

my goal is usually to try and GTFO of montgomery as soon as possible anytime I drive through it

Best bbq in the Montgomery area is Smokehouse in Millbrook, just north of Montgomery. They are open Wednesday through Saturday, I think.
A good meal?
Meh
Carrabba's on East Blvd?
There is a 5 Guys at Eastchase.
Moe's if you want a burrito?
Seriously, the food here is bad. There are a few local places I try to eat at, but nothing that I can say is outstanding or something you couldn't get elsewhere. Some good country cooking places. That is the local cuisine.

I ate Chinese at a place called Mings last fall.
Was very surprised at how good it was.

i work here fairly often
downtown has a dreamland and the previously mentioned SaZa is pretty good. ICantina is a pretty good mex joint in the same spot.
Sinclairs and Filet and Vine are good suggestions.
Fine dining? Michaels Table is solid.

All of those are good. I used to eat at Michael's Table quite a bit. Have never had a bad meal there. Great for lunch.
There are some new restaurants coming on and I am working my way through them. Nothing amazing yet, but solid places.
