Why? Because of the foot traffic on the 4th?

Anyway, the Oxtail and Chicken Liver Stracci is the best thing I've had from Domenica.

Damn, with all of these suggestions y'all are giving me it sounds like I will need to make multiple trips.

I'm not even concerned with it. Regardless of the event taking place, as long as you mind your own business and pay attention to your surroundings then anyone should receive minimal harassment in my opinion.

She. And no I'm not. I had dinner down there before Prince last year. I didn't feel unsafe. But it was stupid crowded and parking was a nightmare. I expected it and it didn't really matter all that much to me. But if it's a special evening eating in another part of town might be more enjoyable all around. But by Sunday it's likely to be a lot less crowded anyway. The dome was empty for Lionel Richie on Sunday.

It's not any different than telling someone who's not a football fan to go eat somewhere else on game days.

In today's world, that's racist too.

though things like the free street parking might be harder to come by, for instance. traffic, and crowds would be my disclaimer for traveling close to one of the bigger special events of the year on a holiday weekend. harassment wouldnt have really crossed my mind.

Menu changes throughout the year

It honestly depends on whatever the hell you feel like wearing. I've been there for a special occasion dinner and worn slacks and button down. I've also been there for happy hour with shorts and a polo.

I've had every pizza type and they are all awesome with the exception of carrot (I had it at pizza domenica. It was good but not my favorite). My favorites are calabrese, white, gorgonzola

If you are going for happy hour, I'd just get a few pizzas and maybe a small dish or two. Make sure you get the bread and olive oil. I've made the mistake of filling up on that though

Everyone recommends the cauliflower. I second that. The kale is also worth trying.

For pasta, rabbit tagliatelle is

Sometimes you can snag a parking spot around the hotel. If not plenty of valet or garages around.

Favorite dishes

Wild Mushroom pizza
clam and garlic pizza
calabrese pizza
Tagliatelle with rabbit and porcini
eggplant and goat cheese in pastry
crispy rabbit tenderloin
Roasted cauliflower
wood roasted octopus
octopus carpaccio

The charcuterie board a few weeks ago was bomb

This was my primary plan until everyone in the thread derailed it with talks of pasta and ox tail.

I haven't had a slice of pizza in probably at least a year (strict diet) so I am hoping for the best.

Enjoy. And like I said, the menu changes throughout the year, so it depends on what is available now for the small plates, pasta and meats

In other words, some of the Recs made in here might not even be available

I went last year and they had crispy chicken, goat and a fish fish. I just glanced at the menu I don't see chicken or goat.

Regardless, it's all good stuff. Can't really go wrong
