Damn brah big ballin over here.

I would suggest arnauds, Muriel's, Antonines could accommodate you with proper planning.

Check out cochon's room. I can't remember the name.

Also pigeon & prince is besh's be place where le foret is which I believe was created specifically for this type of thing.

Big family

No one's family is that big. It should be for immediate family members not every 2nd cousin and uncle Larry you have. Geez.

That's why there is a reception after the wedding.

Went to one at Ralph's on the park and it was well done. About 100 people there as well.

That would be a great one. Can't imagine it comes on a budget.

Not New Orleans but I had mine at Chimes in Covington for about 80 people we had a great time it was more informal party like though.. They gave us the whole upstairs to ourself with private bar and balcony. the food was very good and in a buffet style so u could drink and eat as u pleased.. after about 2 hrs we reached the 4000 bar tab limit. My dad had been in the bottle a little so he gave the girl 2000 dollars and told her she better go downstairs and get some more dam whisky!

I'm sure I'll be bashed by nola foodies on this board but check out Purloo in Central City. The neighborhood is not the best but it's not terrible, in the Garden District area off Oretha Castle Haley blvd. Very lit up area of the street surrounded by other restaurants and museums. It's a very large open restaurant with excellent southern/french cuisine and the building is also connected to the Southern Food and Beverage Museum which may be a nice treat for out of town folks to check out during the dinner.

i attended a similar event at Murial's (upstairs) on Jax Square and the ambiance was killer. They have a "seance" room, really nice bar area. Food was okay and was sit down from a fixed menu with 3 options.

Good luck!
