6-7 bottles of something that is just as good. Status bottles are extremely over rated

I'd rather have 5-7 bottles of Buffalo Trace.

For a buddy's boss....

I told him to grab one of the Jefferson ocean "aged at sea bottles" (different)and something else.

Other than pappy I don't know of too many $200 bottles of bourbon. Scotch on the other hand.

That price is in no man's land. Anything that retails for that has been hyped into non-existence except for triple or more on the secondary market. Anything that is cheaper but still hyped to the point of being found for that price is hardly worth it.

Black Maple Hill 21. One of the best bourbons I've ever sipped, and you can give 1 as a gift and keep the other 4 you bought with $200.

this bottle will cost you roughly $3000. You arent finding a BMH21 on a shelf on this planet

When did this happen? Holy shite. I know I haven't bought a bottle in a while, but wow. I paid no more than $45 for a bottle at a liquor store around Fort Worth/ Denton a year or so ago.

I started an identical thread a while back with similar results.

Best suggestion was: LINK

Think I found a bottle for $150 in a liquor store in Manhattan. Ended up going a different route.

you're most likely talking about the non-age stated Black Maple Hill that could be found on shelves within the last few years. Very different from the 21. The 21 is what many refer to as a unicorn these days.

Just buy 3 bottles of Blanton's with that money. Give a couple as a gift and keep one for yourself

You're welcome.
